Yesterday millions of us in India sat breathless under threat of a super-cyclone and I feared why it had to be 13th October, I never wanted to remember this day as one which devastated Indian lives…. the worst is over and the loss of life was almost null, miraculous, amazing right … this day remained blessed as it was supposed to be …

ای آه فرشتگان که از دل ما بر می خیزد
هنگامی که کلمات از بیان باز می مانند ،
و هنگامی که یکدیگر را در آغوش گرفتن
و اشارات چشم و ابرو
و اشکها
از بیان باز می مانند ،
هنگامی که دلهای بی زبان ما
در پشت میله های آهنین سینه هایمان
تنها و بی کس، لال می مانند،
در آن هنگام است ،ای موسیقی،
که تنها تو می توانی آدمیان را در سیاه چالشان با هم دمساز کنی
و تنها تو می توانی آه های آدمیان را از پهنه های دور گرد آوری و به گوش یکدیگر برسانی.
نظامی در خسرو شیرین آنجا که شیرین سخنان خود را به نکیسا می گوید تا با چنگ خویش به گوش خسرو
